Beautiful Blooms Artesprix Decorative Metal Panel

Good morning. Nicole here! I'm excited to share this pretty Metal Decorative Panel I created for my tier tray. For this project I used Artesprix's Sublimation Markers and the Sublimation Ink Pad that is available in the shop. The Bountiful Blooms stamps are from Brutus Monroe! There are so many adorable elements in the stamp set and they are perfect for spring projects.

What are Artesprix Sublimation Markers?

Magic Ink that transfers their beautiful colors from plain copy paper to a polyester product with a heat source. Iron-on-Ink Markers are the way to personalize sublimation, which is specially formulated inks that transfer only when activated with heat.

Materials:

Stamping Acrylic Block

Plain Copy Paper

Pencil

Heat Tape

Protective Paper

Project Mat

Heat Press or Home Iron

Step-by-Step Tutorial:

Step 1: Trace your Decorative Metal Panel onto a plain piece of copy paper using a pencil. That way you know how much space you have to work with.

Pro Tip: Set your heat press at 400℉ for 90 seconds before you start working on your Decorative Metal Panel. That way, the heat press will be hot enough to sublimate your images when you are finished. MISTI stamping tool with sublimation stamp pad
Step 2: Stamp images within the traced area using the Sublimation Ink Pad and Acrylic Block or MISTI Stamping Tool.

Step 6: Using heat tape, tape down the Decorative Metal Panel  (white side faced down) onto the images.

Step 7: Place a piece of Protective Paper at the top and bottom of your Decorative Metal Panel. Place your "Sublimation Sandwich" inside the heat press for 90 seconds at 400℉.

Step 8: Carefully, remove the project from the heat press using gloves. Then place the Decorative Metal Panel onto the Project Mat to conduct the "Peek Test". Without removing any tape, peel back one corner of your design to ensure you got a great transfer.

Step 9: Once you confirmed your transfer was successful, remove the paper and heat tape to reveal your vivid designs!
