Iron-on-Ink Inspirational Bag Tags

Hello everyone!! I’m excited to share two inspiring bag tags with you today. They make great accent to birthday gifts, whether you tie it to the gift bag or the gift itself. You really can do just about anything with tags, right!? And with three finishes to choose from with Artesprix, you'll never run out of inspirational ideas. You can choose from maple, plastic, and metal finishes. For this project I'll use the plastic bag tag.

What are Artesprix Markers?

Artesprix Sublimation Markers have the capability to transfer your drawings from a plain copy paper to any Polyester Fabric or Polyester Coated Blank with a unique process called, "'Sublimation."

Materials: 
Heat Press or Regular Iron
Trinity Stamp's So Very Loved and Creativi-Tea Stamps
Step-by-Step Tutorial:
Step 1: To begin, I used the Plastic Bag Tag as a template to trace on white card-stock using a pencil.

Step 2:  Next, I stamped Trinity Stamp's images onto the plain piece of paper using the Sublimation Ink Pad.

Step 3: I flipped the plastic film with the stamped images backwards and held the film up against the window under the paper to create the mirrored text using a Black Sublimation Marker.

Step 4: I colored the images using the Sublimation Markers. Don't worry if the colors look muted, the colors will become more vibrant once heat and pressure is applied to a compatible blank. 
This is a great time to pre-heat your heat source. If you're using a heat press, set to 400℉. If you're using a home iron, set to highest heat & no steam.

Step 5: Using special heat resistance tape, secure the blank image facing up.

Step 6: Next, Create your sublimation sandwich. One protective Paper sheet at the bottom and one sheet at the top of the project. This helps prevent ink from getting on your work surfaces.

Step 7: Once your heat sourced has reached optimal temperature, place your project in (or under) your heat source, design facing up.

Step 8: After your timer has completed, let your project cool down before handling.

Step 9: Take a sneak peek of your projects before tearing the heat tape to ensure the colors are vibrant.

Step 10: Remove heat tape and paper from Plastic Bag Tags to reveal your vivid designs!

Step 11: If you want to add a design to the other side you can do so at anytime. Don’t forget to add the plastic hoops at the top of the tags that come with your Artesprix Bag Tags.
