Artesprix Colorful Sublimation Canvas Zip Case!

Hello Artesprix friends Ivy here! I was on Instagram and I saw these adorable earrings and thought oh my goodness... this would be SUCH a cute print for a fabric! That’s when I had the idea to doodle using my Artesprix Iron-on-Ink Markers and make a CUTE little zip case as a gift for my niece.

This would even make a great addition to any Easter Basket if you are celebrating! It’s a quick and easy craft to make with kids too! Let me show you below!

What are Artesprix Sublimations Markers?

Artesprix markers enable you to draw on regular paper and transfer on to sublimation blank materials such as totes bags, bookmarks and keychains and more.

To Create this zip case, you will need the following:

  1. Poly Canvas Zip Case
  2. Sublimation Markers
  3. Heat Press or Regular Iron
  4. Heat Tape
  5. Protective Paper Roll
  6. Regular Copy Paper
  7. Pencil
  8. Ruler

Step by Step Tutorial:

Step 1. Use a pencil and lightly trace the bag tag on a plain sheet of paper. This way you know what area you have to work with when designing with your Artesprix Markers. Trace your design onto copy paperTrace design onto copy paper

Step 2. Use your pencil and draw random scallops and then color it in using a mix of bright Artesprix markers. If you do not like your preparation design when using the pencil don't worry. Pencil does not transfer. Only the Iron-on-Ink will transfer to your Artesprix Colorful Sublimation Poly-Canvas Zip Case!Design Using pencil and copy paper Color design using Artesprix Sublimation Markers

Step 3. When you are finished coloring your Iron-on-Ink design, cut around the Artesprix Poly-Canvas Zip Case and use Artesprix Heat Tape to secure the drawing to your blank. The Poly-Canvas Zip Case has a zipper on the top, I lined up my design just below the stitching. Place design to Blank using Artesprix Heat Tape

Step 4. Next, turn the Artesprix Heat Press to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and 45 seconds.

Step 5. Once the Artesprix Heat Press is ready we are going to make a Sublimation Sandwich. First, place Protective Paper down to the Heat Press. Then place your Poly-Canvas Zip Case with the design facing down but on top. *Make sure the zipper hangs off the edge of the press - you do NOT want to press the zipper because it will affect its functionality* After, place another sheet of Protective Paper. You always want to make sure your Protective Paper covers your project. This is your Artesprix Sublimation Sandwich.Artesprix Sublimation Sandwich

Step 6. After the sublimation process for your  Poly-Canvas Zip Case is complete, take a small peek to make sure the color is vibrant and the image has transferred (without shifting or removing Heat Tape). ***If it didn't transfer properly double check your Time, Temp, and Pressure.

Step 7. Use your Artesprix Protective Project Mat and let the Poly-Zip Case cool down before you handle it.

Step 8. It always surprises me how vibrant the color is once it’s transferred. The Big Reveal

Step 9. Here is the finished zip case! What do you think? Don't forget to PIN this picture for later! Artesprix Poly Canvas Zip Case
